Machine learning engineer at Square, focused on risk. Previously I was at Twitter working on spam and account takeover detection. At BuzzFeed I was a manager and built AI tools that curate what BuzzFeed publishes across its hundreds of social media channels. I also had built optimization algorithms for the company's site and apps, including a content feed ranker, and a headline picker. At Columbia, I did my Master's in Computer Science and researched news consumption, social networks, and information diffusion. Before that, I worked in finance -- a natural progression for a Biology and Anthropology major. I love cooking, playing music, and all things DIY.
